Update

OK so I have not been missing. My computer has been having issues and we had to take it in. They had to wipe everything out and we had to start all over. What a pain we lost almost everything. But I am back in action. Well I do have a few updates The big one. Most of you already know. An old girlfriend of Ron's form high school let us know that Ron might have a daughter that he did not know about. We first learned about this four years ago as her parents were going through a divorce. At the time with the advice of professionals and many friends and family we decided that this would not be a good time to tell her then 10 at the time. About a month ago a friend of hers whose mother decided to inform her daughter of this told her at school. We decided it was time to see and with her wishes we determined paternity and well we have a new daughter. Her name is Kaylie she is 14 years old. She is a wonderful girl. The kids adore her and so do I. She is great she blends in with us so well and spends as much time as she can get away with here. OK take your hand and place it under your jaw and push it back up off the floor! It really is not that big of a deal. We feel that we were somehow incomplete without her and really do love her. We are thankful for her and can't wait for all of you to meet her. And kaylie you know how much we love you girl.

Weekend

Well this weekend was our big cattle cut and drive. We headed over to help my dad with everything . But first Saturday we had a little fun. Grandma busted out the water slide and the kids had a ball.

Sunday was the big cow day. Stetson on the fence sizing things up. He isn't sure if he's ready to take the plunge into the corral or not.

Lainee in the back of the truck. That was as far as I could get her for the first 20 min. It took her awhile to warm up.

Preslie on the other hand had no fear. She wanted to get in with the calves so bad she kept trying to crawl through the gate. Ron and sheena finally had to take turns and carry her in by the cows.

The trek was long and hot and by the time we reached horse valley I was too wore out for anymore pictures. It was a good time though. My kids really look forward to this every year as do I.

Happy Birthday Tanner!!

Happy 6Th Birthday to my little Tanner!!
He turned 6 on may 22ND and I have never had time to get a post for him. It is always hard to find time to do a party for him because his birthday falls on the last week of school and memorial weekend. So I had promised him a party this year no matter what. It turned out pretty good. I think he had a good Time.

Kindergarten Graduation

Last night was Tanner's Kindergarten Graduation. (Sorry some of the pics are blurry I was not taking them I was filming.) He was so excited. It was a cute little program. Short and sweet. I cant believe how old he is getting.He will be my little first grader.

Fun Updates

Stephanie had one of her birds die so she sent the other one home with me last Friday. The kids were so excited. But he was a little lonesome so we went to st. George Saturday to get him a friend and we picked this blue and white one. The kids have named the green one fluffy and the white one snowflake. Preslie loves them she sits and talks to them they are fun. I am going to try to train them so we can play with them. On Saturday I had bought them a bigger cage and was putting them into it and the green one's wings are not clipped he got away and done a few laps around my kitchen the kids were going crazy laughing and Ron was freaking out and I was standing there stunned. It eventually landed right next to it's cage and we grabbed it. It was quite funny.



Do you ever have those moments with your kids when is all you can do is laugh because they are acting so outrageous. Well tanner he is my calm one as far as fits go. He will cry and beg but hardly ever throws a tantrum. The other day he had a melt down all I could do was laugh. I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pics to show him what he looked like. Derrick's Graduation

Saturday I had the opportunity to attend the College Graduation of my brother Derrick. He received his diploma for a Masters of Accountancy!! He has worked very hard over the past several years to accomplish this feat. He is a wonderful father to five great kids he worked two and sometimes three jobs to take care of his family and pay for school. He stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning most nights studying for exams and completing assignments. This was not easy for him but he never really complained much he just did what he had to do. So Saturday as they called his name put his masters sash on and handed him his diploma I felt the tears welling up they were tears of pride for the hard work I knew it took for him to accomplish this. And for the great dad and person he his. I love you Derrick and am so very proud of You!!!! You will only have great things ahead of you.
