Baseball

The sports season is upon us. I guess it has been for awhile now. The boys done wrestling for 6 or 7 weeks and now that is over it is baseball. Stetson just turned 8 so he was eligible to try out for little league. He has been in t-ball and is old enough for coach pitch this year if he didn't make the little league draft. Luckily he made it and his official little league career began. He loves baseball. It is a little different this year though in t-ball he is used to be the big shot now he is the youngest on the team the others are 9 and 10. So they have more experience and size for alot of them. But he is doing really well I am proud of him the games are 2 hours long and he loves every minute of it no complaining. Tanner starts t-ball in another month.

I am glad he has a passion I think baseball will be his thing although I encourage him to play lots of other sports too.

A hope for 2008: I hope for health for all of my family. After losing my grandma to cancer last year and another family member being diagnosed at the same time. I just want everyone that I love to be healthy.

I love my Internet!

We finally did it. we have DSL and it is great. Me and Ron were laughing last night as the qwest commercial came on and it's says fall in love with your Internet again. that is us. We are sitting there going through web sites just to see how fast it goes.I am amazed I love it. It is worth the money. Thanks for all of your input.

Etiquette

Some people have no cooth! I mean who goes into a movie store and announces what happens at the end of a movie. I went to Holllywood video last night to rent some movies. I came to the section of a movie that I had been wanting to see for quite a while now. The movie store was packed so I pushed my way through some people a mother and two children in their early adolescents .I picked up the long awaited movie glad that I finally had it in my hand and looked on to see what else was right there.

The girl behind me says to her mother look theres I am legend. The movie that I had just picked up and was dying to watch. The mother says loudly " no I don't want to see that it's a remake and I already seen the old one I don't want to see it agian." The son says "what happens "? The mother blurts out the very end of the movie just as loudly as she can ( I won't say what she said for the sake of all of you who have not seen the move but may still want to) I was flored what in the *#*@!!! I mean who does that !!! So I brought the movie home anyways and we watched it and the whole time I was just waiting for what was to happen. THe whole experience of this movie was ruined. I would really like to find this lady and let her have a piece of me. The moral of the story : Learn some freaking manners people agian you don't go into a movie store where people are looking for movies that they have not seen and blurt out the ending!!! I hear karma can be a (well you know what I mean)!

Down and Derby

The pine wood derby was a couple of weeks ago. I didn't get the pic posted because at Easter my sister (sheena) was in charge of taking pics of the kids rolling the Easter eggs down the hill and she dropped my camera in the dirt! I thought it was gone for good but I fixed it by some miracle. Anyways I used sheena's camera for the derby and just got her usb cable on fri to download the pics. Sooo anyways the derby.
Stetson's car was close to the saddest looking paint job there. His dad tried to instruct him on it but he wanted it painted his way and that is what he did. some were spectacular you know the kid must not have helped on the paint job at all. But sad looking as his was he was proud of it. I had a talk with him before we went and I said you know stetson there will only be one kid there who wins it all and that night not be you but it's OK. So he was excited but so nervous he didn't expect much when he got there and seen everyone else and their cars. He raced five times and well he WON every single race. This car was smoking fast. He was so excited and proud he was jumping up and down and yelling.

This was the last car he raced for the first place prize his car the one on the left. didn't look nearly as nice as the one on the right. but his smoked it . In fact it went so fast down the track you can see that the barrier could barely stop it ti pushed the barrier way out.When we were on our way home he said this is the best day of my life. He now wants a glass box with and alarm on it for his car. I was so very proud of him and so happy for him!!

What the heck?

What in th heck it is the 9th of April and this is what we get. Can you say sick to death of winter.I am not a cold weather person. I love to be outdoors and in the sun. I force myself through the winter knowing it will end. But this year I am wondering if it ever will. We are going to have a short spring and summer and then winter will hit again. I guess we will have to move. (ya right! like ron would ever leave cedar).This picture was taken today at about 10:00 a.m. It looks like night time in January!

Congrats!!!

Congratulations to my brother and sister in law( Cary and Cynthia). They have a new baby girl born on April 7th her sister caitlyn's b-day. 6lbs and 19 inches long born at 2:oo am (est) . In danbury ct. They named her Caralyn Maryetta Clark. Maryetta being the middle name after our grandma who passed away christmas eve from cancer. We know grandma and caralyn played and spent wonderful time together before grandma sent her from her arms to cary and cindy's .I can't wait to see her and hold her although she will be 4months old before we will see them. We love you and miss you Connecticut folks.I can't wait to see some pics.

It's official (I think)!

I think it is finally going to happen. Yes my mom and dad have finally decided on a house. My mom and dad are selling their house and building a new one or so we thought then not then so then not and now I think it's official. They have had so much trouble deciding basement or not big or small brick or stucco price and everything else. It has been quite an experience for all of us here trying to help them come to an agreement. But I think that they have done it and this will happen. This is the house my mom wants and I guess she will get it. I am really excited for her it is a beautiful home and I love the floor plan. Congrats to all involved. We will see what happens. (I think I now need a new house though I would love to build this one maybe in the next few years I could make that happen). or not but doesn't it just seem that when someone gets a new house that you always think you need one. It smells new it is modern and up to style their is just something about it . or is that just me?
