This is a little late but I'm trying to catch up. Kaylie ,Ron, Stetson and Tanner headed out opening morning of the hunt. Kaylie had a tag and it was her first year hunting. She had this deer fairly early in the morning and they were home by lunch.

Well another Halloween has come and gone! The kids had a great time carving their pumpkins before.

We went to cannonville for Halloween. Ron was in Wyoming working and weren't sure when he would be home so we headed over to hang with the cousins. Preslie went as a pumpkin fairy and lainee as a queen. They had so much fun but were pretty chicken about going up to doors alone they still spook easy.
Tanner was snake eyes of of GI Joe. He went with the older kids and had a blast. I didn't get a picture of stetson he didn't stop long enough for me too. He headed out with austyn and a friend and they made the whole town of tropic (or so they say). And he was out of costume and eating his loot before I could get a picture. I think everyone had a really good time.
And when I came home on Sunday Ron had a dozen pink roses and a bouquet of mixed flowers and a card with the sweetest words he had written for me. It is our 9 year anniversary on Tuesday November 3rd.
Thank you Ron for being my best friend, my lover and a wonderful father to our children. You inspire me all the time. I love your zest and passion for things and the way you are always so into me. I love that you tell me you love me several times a day every day and that at least once a day you tell me how beautiful I am. I think we are very lucky to have each other and I look forward the rest of our lives together. I love you babe Happy 9 years!!!
SO I have some catching up to do! First is of the two big bad hunters who spent several weeks getting things ready for the muzzel loader hunt . They were like kids in a candy store getting things together. They begged and bargained to get new scopes the weekend before the hunt and this is their pics of getting them ready they shot for hours trying to sight them in and struggled so they sat at the bar for hours tinkering with them.
They laughed and had a good time for awhile but it all soon turned dark. ( I dared not take anymore pictures after the incident).
as clint tightened his scope the ring that holds it on broke. Yes broke and the laughter stopped. And I put the camera up and said not another word. After two days of stress Corby saved them and clint was still up for the hunt. A lot of bs was caught I'm sure but nothing with horns was brought in. I think they had a good time though!
Stetson has been playing football. He played for the Canyon View Falcons and they they went 4-1 for the season. Making them the Champions for their age group. They Had a really good season. I can say that I really enjoy watching them play football. It's alot faster paced and quite exciting. Stetson played really well for his first year and I am proud of him! This is the score board in kanab they won the game 19-0 for the champion title.

We were taking pictures of Lainee heading to preschool and preslie wanted hers done as well. I can't tell what is all over the picture or her but I think she still looked cute all posed up and ready!
Lainee ready for her big day at preschool! She loves it and is having a great time! Preslie was lost at first with out her but she is getting used to it. And Lainee is a little social bug so she loves getting out.
And this is the kids with Joey Lagonos car. It was at home depot and they thought is was so cool to see a race car up close. They checked it all out and the start buttons and the seats. The only thing that would have made it better they said was if it was Jr's.

Shawn if the heavens could open and you could hear us we would tell you how much we love you!! How much we miss you!! You are a light in our lives and a vital part of our family. We will cry alot and ache inside for you but we cherish the time we had with you. The wonderful memories that you gave us will stay forever in our hearts and thoughts. There will not be a day that goes by that you are not thought of and mentioned in our family we will pray for us all daily. We love you shawnie!!
We have learned the importance of our saviors sacrifice when he bled in the garden of Gethsemane. As we come to an understanding of the atonement of the savior we begin to see the trials and tragic experiences of our lives through the larger window of an eternal perspective. Christ himself has given us very personal glimpses of his atoning experiences in the doctrine and covenants section 19. Jesus speaks of his suffering as he took upon himself the sins and pain of all mankind. "which suffering caused myself, even god , the greatest of all to tremble because of pain and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink nevertheless glory be to the father and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men"
The atonement was for us he suffered for our sins and it has a greater meaning now in my life than ever before. I thank my savior for this with all my heart. Because of this I know that we will be a family forever with shawn!!
To shawn I would remind him of what the savior said in D&C 50:40-43 "fear not little children, for you are mine, and I have overcome the world, and you are of them that my father hath given me; And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost... And inasmuch as ye have received me, ye are in me and I in you"

Ok so I have some serious catching up to do so hang in there.
I decided at the last minute to cut my hair. I went to Emilee's shop and we debated and debated and then I turned the chair around so I couldn't see in the mirror and said cut and color do whatever you want. I didn't see it until she was all the way finished.
This year the kids have been good so we bought them a little pool. No more coolers for swimming. They love it
It's not big but it serves the purpose!
WE have some new members to our clan. Brook and callie! The kids have wanted some kittens forever and we never could because of the dogs. But we were able to now and my mom had these. The kids fell in love with these two so we brought them home.

There is nothing like home! We went to my moms for a few days and the kids wanted to hike to mossy cave. I forgot how beautiful it is there sometimes I love the area where I grew up there is no place that even compares to it.

We went camping for the 4th of july on cedar mountain. We took the kids over to the ice cave at duck creek. This is everyone who went into the cave.

The hair. I love love love it. It feels so good. Thanks Emilee you did a great job!
Ok so I am trying to decide what to do with my hair. It has gotten quite long. Most of you know that I have always had my hair long. Every once in a while i will cut it short but then it grows right back out. It has been long for several years now I think and so I feel like I might be ready for a change. I really like this cut but I'm not sure might be too short but if I'm gonna cut it I might as well go for a big change. What do you all think? this is me now a recent picture and this is the cut. Should i or should I not. Leave it long or cut it short? Give your honest opions! and Emilee is this doable.
Saturday the 13th Derrick and Ashlie were married! It was a very small and beautiful. They were so cute together and and the colors were beautiful. We are thrilled to have ashlie in the family she is great and we wish them both all the luck in the world. I hope they both along with their 7 children have all the happiness that they deserve!
