RAIN

I love the rain!!! It has started to rain here tonight and it is at that dusk time of day so it is gray and fuzzy out side. The smell i wish I could post it. It is awsome. I love to sit out back and watch it rain and smell it. It was a perfect end to a beautiful sunday.

Easter

Easter was a blast as always. The weather was so nice it was wonderful. We had over 90 people at our camp.I think we had all but 9or 10 or my grandpa and grandma chynoweths grandchildren there. I think that is a great tribute to them. My camera's batteries died right as the Easter egg roll began so I didn't get any pics of that or the hunt or the kids riding four wheelers and the camp. so sorry but I bet steph will post some.

The badger that rod hit and someone propped up with a beer. It was quite the show stopper. We all went and posed with pics of it. I know it's gross but heck it was funny at the time. All the kids gathered around it for a pic as did us adults.

Well another Easter come and gone. I hope each one of you had as good a time as we did and I can't wait until next year!!!

Happy easter

As I check out until Monday I thought I would leave a few thoughts. I wanted a pic of the savior's resurrection not the crucifixion but this is all I had. We are all headed out to our camping hole for the weekend of four-wheeler riding ,eating (non-stop) Easter egg rolling and hunting and any other adventure we can find I thought I would spend a few min. Thinking about what Easter is really about. The Resurrection. My kids often ask why we don't wear crosses or hang them on our walls as some of our other family members do. I explained that we are thankful that the savior died on the cross for us. It was a very important part of his plan but we don't fixate on that fact.The greatest aspect of the crucifixion is not the the crucifixion it's self but the Resurrection. The fact that the savior regained his life after three days. That means that we can too and without that there would not be life eternal. So this Easter we celebrate the Resurrection and thank our father in heaven for giving us his son and the savior for suffering so we could all live again. We celebrate that our savior lives still and that we can too!!

The fire starter

Let me tell you sometimes I wonder how we will ever make it through to our children's adulthood. How did our parent's do it?
Last night stetson, lainee and ron all were not feeling well so we had stayed home from church and rented some movies. We were all vegged out on the couch and tanner needed to go to the bathroom #2. Now his #2's are quite the process he has to be completely stripped down to nothing and the song's he sings.. Well they are loud and it is entertaining and this whole process can sometimes take about a half and hour. So when tanner is in the bathroom we just stay away and let him do his business. But as I was walking by the door yesterday as he was in this process I smelled something burning. I opened the door and found quite a surprise. We have the bar lights across our bathroom mirror with the light bulbs only nothing is covering them. Tanner had thrown all of his clothes up on these lights and they were burning. It was his wrestling clothes to make it worse. His shorts are nylon mesh and they were melted around the light bulb. and when I took his shirt off the lights it was smoking I had to put it out in the sink and his underwear were burned. If I had been a few min. later if probably would have been an all out fire. I don't know if I will ever live through my children!!

My other Mothers!

I have so many other mothers at my house. Which would be great if they would cook, clean,and do laundry while I had a nap. But no there job is to boss the one's younger than them around. Usually this is a bad thing and causes a lot of grounding at our house but today it actually worked out great. I have been trying to get lainee to ride her bike for some time now. She would have me do all the pushing and she only peddled backwards. Then one of her other mother's (stetson) geared her up and took her out to teach her. I didn't give it much attention because I knew how my attempts had gone. A few minutes later the door burst open with stetson yelling mom she riding it! Well she was . He did it. So although they don't do the cooking or the cleaning sometimes the other mothers do come in handy!!

Stetson's Big day!!!!

Stetson was baptised on march 1st. I have been trying to post a pic on here since them but for some reason it won't post. Any other pic from that day will but his baptism one will not post. So anyways I wanted to tell my boy how proud I am of him. He is such a great kid and I love him so much. He looked forward to his day for so long and he was so happy . The bishop said he had never interviewed an 8 year old who knew as much a bout the gospel as stetson did. We are all in tears by the end of the interview it was so neat. I love you stetson I am so very proud of you.

The Big Race!!

Well we traveled to vegas this weekend for the big race. We forgot our camera so sorry no pics. It was an awesome race Jr. was a contender the entire race. His car was awesome but he fought it the whole day they were having tire issues and couldn't seem to get the car dialed in. Despite all that I think jr had the car to win although seeing a 2nd place finish was great. Carl Edwards car was untouchable no one could even come close to him. on restarts he would blow them away and keep on running. Come to find out Edwards did not have his oil cap on! /Which creates more down force which creates more speed. We had great seats near the start finish line and were close to lots of great crashes. We couldn't see most of the jeff gordon one though. but it was spectacular.I kinda have to like him though now being jrs teammate and all. although it was still fun to watch him wreck.so back to carl edwards the decision will be made today but I think that they should take the trophy away and give it jr. Not just because it 's jr but because rules are rules and cheating is cheating. after all i remember when a little four letter word cost jr the championship!!
