This is the picture. I would like to play with it still but this is the first draft. Let me know what you think. i think I will play with a few other pictures and different colors and see what happens. let me know if you find anything out. (me and steph just bought the adobe elements 7 an are trying to figure out how to change a picture to black and white or antique and then pick the colors out that you want to show up if any of you smart computer people know how to do this please let us know).

Vegas!!

We went to Vegas this past weekend for the Nascar race and to visit Ron's dad and step mom. We headed down about 7am on Saturday. We had told the kids we would take them up to boulder city to ride the train. They were so excited they could hardly wait. It was a really nice day and the train was really neat.

They had an open car so we sat there for the first half of the ride it was really cool.

Then for the second half we went into the closed car. We wanted to experience them both. The kids were really excited about this they said that it was just like the one harry potter rode.

The kids were staying with grandma MacIntosh. They were having a fun time playing dress ups. In fact lainee talked Grandma out of these cool hats.

At the race. Jr's car coming into turn 4 where we were sitting. We seen two really great wrecks in front of us and Jeff Gordon's tire blow. it was cool.

There's my man during driver introductions. He placed in the top ten. It was a great race they set a new track record for the most cautions. I love cautions because I love the restarts. It is so awesome to sit close to the track and hear and feel the rumble of the engines when they are starting out.

Thanks to grandma for taking such good care of the kids. They had a blast. They keep begging to come back. Every day it's can we go back tomorrow. And to grandpa for taking us on a train ride on Saturday they will never forget that. It was a great weekend and hard to come back to reality.

Stetson's New Scope

Stetson wanted a scope for his birthday to go on the 22 cricket rifle he got for Christmas. We found one on Friday and surprised him. He was so excited he could not sleep that night because Ron was taking him shooting on Saturday. He saved his targets to show me and I was impressed he is a good shot. He was pretty proud of his gun and his shooting. Good job babe!

They always have the reflections contests at school and usually we never do them. But this year the boys wanted to so I said ok I think photography would be a good thing to do. So they took the camera and set about taking pictures outside. We then picked their favorite and printed and matted it and they turned it in to school. Yesterday they came home and Tanner had a certificate of excellence and a $5.00 gift card from wal-mart. Stetson told me I could not mention him on here and would not let me take a picture of him. He won 50 cents to spend at the school snake bait shop. I mention it anyways because I am equally proud of them. I think they both did a great job and it takes alot of courage to enter something into contests.

Stetson's Party

We had a friend party on wed. for stetson. I think he had a good time. He wanted a red velvet cake but he wanted stuff on it like when you buy it at Lin's so I told him I would do my best. Later that night we had stetson's favorite dinner and cake.

at the party the kids decorated their own treat bags. We invited boys and girls. They are all 8 and 9 so it was hard to come up with ideas that both would like. This seemed to go okay.

Then they decorated their own cupcakes. The boys really got into this. I wasn't sure they would but they seemed to like it.

Then we played games and opened presents.

This was the cake. I guess it turned out ok. He loved the truck (much cooler than what the stores use on theirs). And it was red velvet. He said he had a good birthday. That's all that matters. Happy b-day buddy love ya!!

Happy Birthday Stetson!

Happy 9Th Birthday Stetson. I have not scanned all of my old pictures into the computer so I don't have any of stetson as a baby. But on Feb. 11th 2009 my little boy will be nine years old. That is so crazy to me it seems like just yesterday I was headed to the hospital to have him. I was in labor for about an hour at the hospital before he came into the world and he was beautiful. Times have sure changed with my girls they layed them on me before they were even cleaned up. With stetson I never got to hold him until he was over an hour old. They took him right away to bathe and do vitals and I thought they would never bring him to me. Stetson has been such a joy to us. He is full of stories he never stops telling them and they last for hours some times. I think he is going to write wonderful stories one day. He is so caring and loving . While very demanding he has a very tender heart and cares about everyone. He is always wanting to help anyone on the streets.

Stetson has been a blessing in my life from the very start. I am so thankful everyday that he was sent to me. I love you LeDoux!!! Thanks for being my baby.
